The 'early purchase' prices for Season Tickets finish this weekend so it's your last chance to snap up your 2008/09 season ticket at discounted prices, and for Main Stand season ticket holders to be guaranteed their usual seats.

The admission and season ticket prices have increased for the first time in four seasons, but the directors have tried to tier prices to cater for all levels of supporter and the 'early purchase' prices, which are available until Friday 13th June, represent tremendous value. Over 1,200 people have already bought their season tickets for next season.

The new pricing structure puts a premium on the better seats in the Main Stand, whilst the opening of the South Stand to home supporters for all but the most high profile games provides a cheaper seating option as well as an option for Junior U's to maintain their £2.00 entrance fee.

Also, to reward Season Ticket holders who bring Junior U's to occasional games, we are printing five Junior U's vouchers in the Season Ticket books. These can be redeemed for £2 a ticket for the area that the Season Ticket relates to.

Norman Gautrey, United's Chief Executive, said, "The season ticket uptake this season has been tremendous and this allows season ticket holders to bring the occasional Junior U to sit or stand with them for five games of their choice.

"We hope that this concession is appreciated, just as we appreciate the season ticket holders' continued loyalty."

Announcing the news about the South Stand, Chairman Philip Law stated, "It has been nagging away at us for some time that the best facility in the stadium is used by less than a hundred away supporters for the majority of games. We will see how things pan out over the next season as to whether we make this permanent for future seasons."

On the new pricing structure, Law added, "Price rises are always unpalatable, however they are necessary to ensure the long term future of the Football Club. The Board are mindful of the current economic climate, but we need put the club on a stable financial footing."

Supporters will be able to purchase their season tickets at 'early purchase' prices until Friday 13th June, and any applications received with payment by post or through the club's letterbox by Monday morning will be honoured at the 'early purchase' price. After that time Season Tickets will be available at full price.

Application forms are available from the ticket office and there is a downloadable version here (MS Excel format). Please note that the season ticket booklets will not be issued until July 2008.
