Quinn Previews Halifax Match
Jimmy Quinn is looking for his side to bounce back immediately from the first defeat of the season at Forest Green last weekend.
Team News
Mark Albrighton sits out tomorrow's match at home to Halifax and leaves a question mark over who will captain the side in the absence of both him and Danny Brown. Mark Peters is expected to return to the starting line-up in place of Albrighton and could well take on the captain's armband too, although Quinn has yet to make his decision.
"Danny Potter keeps knocking on my door saying 'Gaffer, make me captain!'" he revealed. "It needs to be someone who can handle responsibility and Danny is obviously a contender but he does a lot of talking and shouting anyway, so I've been talking to Alan (Lewer) about it and I may give it to someone who who needs a bit of a boost."
Recent loan signing Marvin Robinson is available for selection having served a one match ban last weekend following his sending off on his debut against Aldershot last Tuesday, and Quinn is sure the pacy striker will make up for that poor first impression.
"Marvin is a player who has been unharnessed," said the manager. "He's a terrific talent and I'm quite sure he'll do well for this club, and he gives us something we haven't got with his pace up front.
"He was a bit unfortunate to be sent off but the referees these days just seem too eager to get their cards out. Take last week's game - we got five players booked and there wasn't a bad tackle in the game!"
There is also better news of captain Danny Brown, who has been ruled out for weeks with a painful foot injury but is back in training again.
"It's the most training Danny has been able to do since he got the injury and he's slowly improving," confirmed Quinn. "He's still probably two weeks away but at one stage it looked as though it could be longer so that's good news."

With Brown stepping up his training and hopefully on the road to a full recovery, and Lee Boylan and Gavin Hoyte both back in action last week, only striker Dan Chillingworth (ankle) remains on the long-term injured list.
"Everyone else is fit and healthy and that gives me a nice problem because I've got more players to choose from and it's better competition for places," added Quinn.
The Opposition
Tomorrow's match against Halifax is the first of two home games in four days, with Rushden & Diamonds also coming to town on Tuesday evening, and Quinn is looking for a response from his players after their 12-game unbeaten run was brought to an end with Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Forest Green Rovers.
"I think the players expected me to be annoyed after the game on Saturday but how could I?" he commented.
"We've created history - 12 games unbeaten is a brilliant start - but we looked a bit jaded and we came up against a team that on the day had a couple of inspirational players in their side.
"We have to put that down to experience, and I know we have the right characters in our side and we're not happy with the result or the performance. They've had a good rest this week and now we're working hard getting ready for two massive home games and looking to get the points that will keep us in the right position in the table."

15th-placed Halifax have already lost four games away from home this season but Quinn will not be underestimating the visitors.
"I watched them last week at York and they were the far better side and went 2-0 up. They were cruising the game and then as soon as York scored their first goal they collapsed. That tells me that they have a problem coming away from home so it's important that we go about the game in the right manner and we get in their faces and let them know that they're not going to get anything out of the game tomorrow.
"They've been unlucky once or twice against some of the fancied teams this season so it will be another tough game. As I've said before, there are no easy games, they all pose you different problems, but we're in a good position in the league and we have to reinforce that and hopefully put on a good show."
