Cambridge United's scholars are in FA Youth Cup action on Tuesday evening at the Abbey Stadium.

The match is a preliminary qualifying round tie at home to Whitton United from Ipswich, and kicks off at 7.30pm.

United's youths progressed all the way to the 4th round last season, eventually bowing out at Cardiff City after defeating youth Tranmere and Crewe Alexandra in earlier rounds.

That cup run gave many U's supporters their first glimpses of players who have since broken into the first team squad, such as Michael Hyem, Jordan Collins, Josh Coulson and Robbie Willmott, and you are urged to come along on Tuesday night to support the future of the club.

Admission is just £4 for adults and £2 for concessions. Season ticket holders are reminded that season tickets are not valid for these games.
