United progressed to the First Round proper of the FA Cup in this replay, with goals from Boylan, Rendell, Wolleaston and Knights (2). It wasn't the classiest of performances although Darryl Knights shone, running Stafford ragged and claiming two goals as the U's progressed to play Aldershot a week on Saturday.
