Baker Back On Board
Cambridge United Football Club have reappointed former Chairman Terry Baker to the Board of Directors.
Baker, a lifelong U's fan who follows the team home and away, has remained close to the Club, despite stepping down from the Chair in 2006.
In a statement from the Board, Chairman Phil Law commented, "We are delighted to welcome Terry back into the fold. He possesses great business nous and has a deep understanding of the dynamics of the football club.
"I have said previously that new appointments will be on merit and in Terry we have a true asset."
Baker will assume a role which oversees all matters pertaining to the stadium, its management, maintenance and operation.
Law continued, "Terry is a successful local businessman who has time to work day-to-day at the Abbey. We identified a need for more local leadership and this move further strengthens Cambridge United."
