Train: From Cambridge, the journey is fairly straightforward, and will no doubt be a popular option. Opt for the train to Kings Cross (which runs frequently, with journey times ranging from well under an hour on the faster services, to 80 minutes on the frequent-stoppers).
Coaches: The club is running several coaches from the ground and satellite locations but they are booking very fast. Contact the club on 01223 566500 for more details. The office closes at 7pm on Friday 16th May.
National Express run coaches to Wembley Stadium and London Victoria from across the country. Though the service from Cambridge runs only to London Victoria, but for a respectable price. Once at Victoria bus station, follow street signs for Victoria Train Station. On the tube from here, a Victoria Line service to Green Park and a Waterloo & City Line (end destination - Stanmore) train to Wembley Park should do the job.
For those running independent coaches, book a space in the coach park adjacent to the ground, via: www.csparking.com/stadium.
If arriving by train at Kings Cross, hopefully you'll be able to follow the amber! Well, anyway, for a direct tube service, take the Metropolitan Line (that's the brown one, colour fans) to Wembley Park. The journey should take around 18 minutes.
On arrival at Wembley Park, you should encounter few problems with regard to finding the dinky national stadium. On exiting the station, wander under the bridge, and Wembley will appear ahead, a towering behemoth of a ground, the gleaming arch glancing down upon a sea of amber and black. That will be quite a view, get ready U's, it's not everyday we see our team at Wembley.
If the Bakerloo Line is more convenient for you, Wembley Central station isn't a million miles away from the ground, and National Rail services also run to this station. From Wembley Central, turn right out of the station and head in an easterly direction along the High Road past MacDonald's and Burger King, until you reach the Wembley triangle junction. Here, turn left into Wembley Hill Road, cross the road and follow the pedestrian route across the White Horse Bridge.
Tickets: The match is all-ticket. Remaining tickets are on sale from the Trade Recruitment Stadium until 7pm on Friday 16th May. For information on how to purchase a ticket click here.
The Ground: It's Wembley Stadium, the national football stadium! It's an impressive arena, apparently. All enclosed, covered, ah, you all now basically what it's like, and if you don't, there's something to look forward to. U's fans will be afforded the East End of the ground - the lower and middle tiers. What more can one say, enjoy it!
Pre-Match Refreshment: There are a small number of pubs in the vicinity of the ground, and inevitably some will be dominated by Exeter supporters, and others by U's fans. A case of 'suck it and see'. It has often been the case for previous finals for fans to stop off at pubs a little further away from the ground, near to underground stations on the Metropolitan Line.
Alcohol is also served within the concourse, though unsurprisingly at a significantly higher price, while food in the ground will also not be cheap. There is a McDonald's and a Burger King within walking distance of the ground, and, no doubt, the odd other burger van or kebab outlet not far off.
Local attractions: Who needs local attractions, we're going to Wembley. If you've got some spare time, roam around London, there's loads of it.
Travel safely, and hopefully we'll have plenty more exciting destinations to visit next season. But whether it's Bradford or Lewes, Macclesfield or Wrexham, we'll still be there, and we'll still be United!
